Spencer is an Associate at Wachtel Missry and focuses his practice on commercial litigation and advising emerging companies along their trajectory from inception to maturity. Spencer’s representative litigation matters include shareholder litigations, corporate governance disputes, IP disputes, breach of contract actions and debtor and creditor suits; his representative matters for emerging companies include structuring and papering corporate governance, joint ventures, employment agreements, vendor agreements and funding and venture pitches, in addition to providing general advisory counsel. Prior to practicing law, Spencer worked in private equity and as a strategy consultant, including on projects for Sixpoint Brewery, JetLev-Flyer and Major League Baseball players in their salary arbitrations and free agency negotiations. Spencer also served as a Judicial Clerk (Extern) in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, under the Honorable Chief Magistrate Judge Nannette A. Baker.
